AC Fail Safe Brakes Type AC

These are undoubtedly the most advanced AC fail Safe Brakes in the World.

They are extremely compact, and fast. Apart from this they have same mounting dimensions as that of our DC type ‘K’ brakes & this make them conviniently interchangeable with our & a lot of other DC brakes available the world over.

There is no restriction on ‘On time duration’ and also on number of operations per minute

‘Lift’ series Brakes.

The electromechanical model Lift is spring pressurized brake operated by DC voltage. They confirm to the normative rule 95/96/CE for goods and passenger lifts. These are most modern & advanced brakes for elevator applications and are highly suited for use with the new gearless drive system used in modern day elevators. There are double brakes operating in tandem. The braking torque generated by one of the brakes is sufficient for standard operation. However double brakes and hence double torque value is used to ensure safety.

We offer a range of solid state rectifiers confirming to ‘UL’ standards for use with out DC voltage operated brakes.

These rectifiers enhance the performance of the brakes to get the desired functioning as demanded by intricate applications. These are patented by us and hence are not offered by competitors,

making the performance of our brakes superior and unmatched.

Type AS4: Half wave rectifier for Regular brake operation with MOV protection.

Input: 0-500 VAC

Output: 0-225 VDC

Type AN4: Full wave rectifier for Regular brake operation with MOV protection.

Input: 0-500 VAC

Output: 0-446 VDC

Type AS4R:Patented” Half wave rectifier for Rapid braking action. The time for the brake to stop the motion is substantially reduced by use of this rectifier. Very Cost effective method to reduce brake wear out and obtain enhanced brake durability. Very effective to achieve braking accuracy and faster braking and lower slippage at higher RPM.

Input: 220-480 VAC

Output: 100-215 VDC

Type AP4R:Patented” Half wave rectifier for Rapid braking action as well as Rapid brake release. The time for the brake to release when energised and stop the  motion when de-energised is Substantially reduced by use of this rectifier. Very Cost effective method to reduce brake wear out and obtain enhanced brake durability. Very effective to achieve braking accuracy and faster braking and lower slippage at higher RPM.  Suitable for use especially with bigger size brakes.

Output: 100-215 VDC

Type AS4RC:Patented” Half wave rectifier for Rapid braking action. All the features of AS4R are offered with an additional provision for use with DC switching and inbuilt RC circuit.
